ORSync Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 25, 2026

ORSync is a tool for surgical teams to keep preference cards, case carts, and on-call rosters in one place. This policy explains what the app stores, where, and who can see it.

What ORSync stores

Where it lives

Who can see it

Your personal library is visible only to your account. A facility's shared library is visible only to that facility's active members. ORSync staff can access facility membership lists to assign admins and provide support, and can access data where required to operate the service. We do not sell data, show ads, or use third-party analytics or tracking.

Patient information

ORSync is not designed to hold protected health information (PHI). Do not enter patient names, initials, dates of birth, medical record numbers, or other patient identifiers. Every person agrees, before ORSync opens for the first time, not to enter patient information; the date of that agreement is kept with their account, and with their facility membership for the facility's admins. The app also shows reminders on every free-text field. When a schedule is read from a board photo or a file, ORSync tries to leave patient columns out, but it cannot recognize every patient detail; the person importing must review every line and confirm it holds no patient information before anything is saved. Preference cards and carts describe surgeon and procedure setup, not patients. Follow your facility's policies for any clinical information.

Sharing and exports

Sharing a card, sending a pull list, or printing creates a file or text that leaves the app only when you choose to send it, to the destination you pick. Shared files never include photos.
